To My Beloved Big Boy
Giving Thanks
It is most appropriate that he left in the Thanksgiving Season because I have so much to be thankful for because of him. I thank him for his time he gave me �" over 20+ years together. I thank him for his unconditional and everlasting LOVE . . . His kisses and gentle licks on my hands . . . His whinnies every time I drove up the drive or went into the barn . . . His “whispers” where he would hold his head at your shoulder and gently “whisper” into your ear . . . His head scratches, which all my trainers said was a bad habit �" bit, he did so gently. I thank him for teaching me to love horses �" I always said if I had a different “first horse” I might not have stayed with horses. And what I have learned from his love �" How to be a better person. I thank him for all the lessons he endured in jumping, dressage and trail riding. I am thankful for his teaching and companionship to Bugsy for the past 14 years. She misses him greatly and still whinnies for him, and looks out the door for his return. And, I am most thankful for all the people, thru him, I have met and become friends with thru the years. Thank you for allowing Big Boy into your lives, and I thank you for all the care, support, friendship, and compassion you have given us thru the years.
I will miss him Forever.
