It is with great sorrow our beloved Sam has fallen asleep in the lord. Our dog Sam was the most important thing to us. Our home and lives will be forever changed. He was the most original and authentic dog anyone could ever hope for. He always had health problems, but he fought hard time and time again to live the dream. He loved camping and really loved food. He has made such an impact on our lives that I know I myself have just lost half my heart. This will be one the hardest things to deal with for a very long time. Dogs like Samuel F. Layne are so hard to come by. He was my best friend, our best friend, but God wanted him back, and we understand. We can only hope to see you again my friend, at the rainbow bridge. We can’t thank you enough for the impact you had on our lives. We will never be the same without you. We love you Samuel F. Layne. Always and Forever. Memory Eternal
